This is a presentation on the use of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in environmental forensics.It covers basics of what environmental forensics investigations (EFIs) are and how PAHs can be used to help determine sources of releases (creosote, railway ties), oil sands development and oil spill releases (Macondo oil spill, gulf oil spill).
