FIAA Training – Forensic Arson Analysis and Process from Chemistry Matters Inc.
This is a training seminar provided to the Fire Investigators Association of Alberta on arson laboratory analysis and process. The presentation goes through the process of collection and analyzing arson samples for the presence of ignitable liquid residues.
Covering the fundamentals of the compounds and the matrices being sampled during fire arson investigations, this talk aims to provide an understanding of how fire investigators can aid the laboratory in getting reliable results that can stand up to legal scrutiny.
